Johan Grotegut attended the Eastern New Mexico Water Conservation Summit where topics such as paleochannels, compensating farmers for not irrigating, and Oglalla health were discussed. I attended the event with two other ambassadors, Kenzie and Kadie Cox. I got to network with professionals in the water industry and learn about steps New Mexico has taken to conserve groundwater.
