Each summer, the Texas 4-H Water Ambassadors embark on their annual tours of Texas Water. Tier One Ambassadors tour the Texas Panhandle, visiting many groundwater conservation districts, and gain a deeper understanding of groundwater and agricultural irrigation within the state. Tier Two takes a trip to the coast, learning about aquatic life and conservation efforts. Tier Three visits the Valley of Texas, touring citrus farms, visiting river authorities, and learning about water shared by Mexico and Texas. Finally, Tier Four Ambassadors head to West Texas, learning about water in one of the driest regions in our state.
